Here, the time axis is distorted. As a side effect, the geometry of the glass cubes are also distorted. It bears some resemblance to slit-scan photography, but I don't know of a proper technical term to describe these effects.

It's harder to find an appealing look with this video to video transformation technique (compared to slit-scan photography).

A Camera Descending a Staircase, No 1
I accidentally didn't focus the camera properly while i was walking down the stairs. So the result isn't just a slit-scan effect. But I’ll be going down those stairs again in the next few days.

#Trichrome technique dates back to the era of analog photography. Digital simulation of this effect looks often like Glitch.
The things I've posted over the last few days are based on #Slitscan technique. That's not very common. @hesselschut consistently publishes slit-scan images and animations.

@anja Um Videos zu editieren verwende ich seit Jahren Kdenlive. Aber mein Wissen über Sound Bearbeitung ist gering. Folglich habe dann auch kaum Ansprüche an die Sound Unterstützung im Video Editor.
Meine unterschiedlichen Workfows für Videos habe etwas gemeinsam. Es entstehen Serien von Einzelbildern. Dann reicht auch FFmpeg um daraus einen Film - ohne Sound - zu erzeugen.
Dies ist ein solches Beispiel:
original Film -> #slitscan Algorithmus -> FFmpeg
Man müsste es nachträglich vertonen. -
