The #Slingbox is no more. It was an interesting lateral thinking-type product that met a clear need and created numerous angles for analysts to consider.
It challenged the arbitrary and archaic content restrictions at the time and arguably hastened the arrival of official #tv anywhere apps from media companies with better windowing. It was a bit geeky, but it worked.
But I think of this more as a retirement after years of steady work, rather than a product death.
