I would like to replace the front door - hopefully it's a revolving door, so the aesthetics don't change so much - of the YCombinator offices with an enormous 10-stacked-blades MixMaster.
It seems that the complete corruption of my industry might have been prevented if I'd done this years ago, and anyone trying to go in or out of that place is not going to be a loss to society anyways.
If I like the results, we can start on the others.

Obsessed again with Slice & Dice by @tann. I blame my fellow Runeterra runner Zrightning for this, entirely. 🤣
Saw him play it on Steam and realised the dev finally added the achievements to Steam -- so I bought it a second time. Been a fan since 2021 and made a promise to myself I'd get it on Steam whenever the dev added the (already existing) in-game achievements on there.
If you don't already know about it, you should really check it out and give the demo a try. ☝🏻 (Careful though, it's highly addictive!)

It's essentially a much more minimal version of "Slice & Dice" (which you *absolutely* should play, too!) in which you merge your class dice to unlock new ones.

Played a little Slice & Dice here before bed. It's a great dice-based roguelite game made by @tann that I was tipped off to via @grogpod. Check the graphics. It's a blast. I'd been playing a little Demon's Tier+ earlier (as usual) and this was a great followup.

Slice and Dice is a minimalist roguelike where battles consist mostly of choosing which #dice to lock in and which to reroll, and then choosing what order to use rolled result of the dice + which enemy to target. And even though the progression basically boils down to replacing a die or modifying its faces, this simplicity belies an incredible depth of gameplay.(1/5)

I've been having fun looking for worthwhile mobile #games to play on my #Android phone.
If you want a couple recommendations:
#Eternium can be played on iPhones too if I remember correctly. It's a fantastic little ARPG along the lines of Diablo or Torchlight, and I find the tap-to-move and gesture spells to be quite nice on a phone!
#SliceAndDice gives you a Roguelike-ish RPG experience where your moves are dice rolls and each character is a different class with different abilities on their dice. Fun to see how far you can make it through the enemies!
I'll recc more as I find them!

Also, why would you ever level up a Scrapper?
It's as far as I can tell the only hero with 2 "shield bash" sides, giving it a 70% chance of rolling shield bash if you reroll all other sides. Since shield bash gets it's damage primarily from the shield bonus, and not from the base stats, having 70% chance of getting it compared to having a 42% chance of getting it, but two more base damage is much, much, better.
Scrapper + some supporting heroes and items win every run.
