Sleigh Bells - Treats
This shouldn't work. Giant beats turned up so far the meter on the console probably just gave up. Aggressive guitar stabs from Derek Miller assault you from both speakers. And then, Alexis Krauss tosses a sweet melody on top of the whole thing.
Well, it did work when it came out (although why wasn't Rill Rill the lead single?) in 2010, and it continues to work on this RSDBF25 release on vinyl.

Brooklyn-based Sleigh Bells features the work of activist and former elementary school teacher Alexis Krauss. While the band falls more into the Noise Pop genre I recall them fitting into this “genre” as well. “Infinity Guitars” (https://tinyurl.com/2uh9fu3v)/NO STROBE (https://tinyurl.com/3yfkbuf3) is from their 2010 debut album “Treats” (https://tinyurl.com/mr9pdxty).
