It's not the idealized, romantic norm but there's nothing "wrong" about a couple (married or not) sleeping in separate rooms.
In the media, it's called "sleep divorce."

IMO, there's no reason that you should lose sleep because of your husband's sleep apnea, which is NOT good for your health & well being.
FWIW, my GF & I have agreed to sleep in separate rooms because she's fidgety & has difficulty going to and staying asleep, which in turn bothers me. Neither of us thinks this negatively affects our relationship.
So, if you have a separate room where you (or he) can sleep & think it could work for you, I'd suggest discussing the matter with him to see if that's something that can be agreed to and arranged.
