Um. Whoops.
I bravely did not buy *every* new #skz thing that arrived at #IHeartKpop yesterday.
But I have definitely overspent on #skzMerch this month.
(Not all of it was from I Heart Kpop. Maybe about two thirds??)
Recent acquisitions:
* A #skzLightStick pin to go on my handmade replica of one of #Felix's Louis Vuitton beanies (in place of the LV badge that's on the genuine version)
* #PuppyM beanie (I think this was part of the range sold at the Japanese concerts last year??)
* PuppyM Tamagotchi, that came with a set of 8 photocards
* Red version of HOP album (I already had the blue version)
* Giant version A (with Blu-ray)
* The Sound version A (with Blu-ray)
* Maniac Seoul concert Blu-ray
* Bonus photo cards with purchases from I Heart Kpop (today the person noticed that #Seungmin is my bias, so they picked out 4 Seungmin cards for me 💕)
* A second album for my photocards, because the first one is overflowing
* A pack of photocard sleeves
* A fucking multi-region combo Blu-ray and DVD player (because I legit expected that I wouldn't ever again watch videos stored on physical media when I could just stream things, oh god why can't I just *stream things*)
I was deeply tempted to buy some of the member-designed Japanese merch, including #I_N's green knit balaclava and Seungmin's I LOVE MY SHOES packing cube. Please praise my restraint.
I don't know if I want to open all these items at once, or spread them out over time, but I think it will probably be more enjoyable to spread them out.
(It was a mistake to open all those Nacific photocards at once. I wish I'd only opened one pack a day instead.)

i thought this was some kinda augmented reality thing at the #skzDominateSaoPaulo show
but it's ... an inflatable??
the way it writhes as it inflates. this is amazing and creepy and i love it so much
(also noting the heavy emphasis on red and blue, with the blue costumes and the strong red lighting. it's like the combination of the red and the blue is what creates the giant)
(at some point I will get back to the red and blue analysis because it's still simmering in my brain)

Back in #skz's rookie year, when #I_N was first getting a bit obsessed with accessories, there was a particular oval glass pendant necklace that he bought in a bunch of different colours. The other members used to borrow (or steal) them quite often.
At some point I'd like to figure out how many of them there actually were, and see if the colours match up at all with the egg colours from Giant.
Seems unlikely, but not impossible
I know he had black, purple, and red for sure. I'm going to keep an eye out for more

I do know that it's entirely possible that #BangChan is grumpy about something entirely unrelated. When one is already grumpy, the slightest little thing can be irritating even when you'd otherwise find it cute or funny or charming.
It does seem that Chan is not happy about what's going on with Felix and Seungmin.
It does also seem that Seungmin is aware that Chan's not happy, and is doing his best to put on a professional fun silly idol performance, while also occasionally darting a worried and/or apprehensive glance at Chan.
But I'm not seriously suggesting that this supports any particular theory of Who's Banging Whom, and Who's Jealous About What.
It's more likely that Bang Chan is tired, or stressed about something else, and it's seeping out a bit.

Could be because the makeup artist went a bit heavy with the lipstick. But uh he keeps shooting dirty looks at #Felix.

- Black: #BangChan
- Light blue: #Hyunjin
- Amber: #Felix
- Dark teal: #I_N
- Red: #Changbin
- Light green: #Han
- Brown: #Seungmin
- Jade green: #LeeKnowOkay so I *think* this is what's happening.
Innie found the giant egg that he held aloft with his gorgeous buff body thank you video creators I am very happy about that.
The giant egg gave Innie the glowing red cracks, and made it so that he could pass some kind of energy or knowledge on to the others.
They took this energy and shot off to find their own eggs.
They transform into the snazzy black outfits, I think this might be an internal world?? because they're switching between those and the miner outfits.
When they brought all the eggs together, the eggs activated and formed a big weird steampunk egg that Channie then put on the pedestal.
The weird steampunk egg matures and gives them the power to fly through space looking for something else.
And also transforms them into the white-outfit skz. Do they have additional powers? They look pretty. That is an important power of course.
The giant figure above them is not identifiably any one of them. Maybe that's the point. That the 8 little miner ants combine to make a giant powerful lightning person.

Good shot of #Changbin's curb chain bracelet but I can't see the clasp well enough to determine if it's Chrome Hearts, drat.
Still trying to determine which skz member (if it was any of them) was about to choke Seungmin in the opening. I *think* it might have been Changbin. We don't see enough of the choker's hands to see any bracelets. They're wearing a fingerless glove on their right hand and no glove on their left.
Look, this is important research. I need to know.

(edited yet again: apparently it was #LeeKnow ?? at least that's what he claimed in the making-of film. i didn't see him actually choking Seungmin on screen though, so I continue to be uncertain.)

(The lyrics mention being scarless, and the original 7-person choregraphed #minhandling was from Scars (another Japanese release), so I wonder if this is a callback??)
