[P] I was also ruminating 9n the Skylanders gwmes, funnily enough. It's sad to me what that series proves. See, it makes it obvious that as children, neurotypicals aren't so slurried. It means they can accept worlds where a diverse variety of fantastic, creative beings exist. There's a part of every neurotypixal though that wanders off to whither and die in a dark corner, sometime around puberty, when the slurrying begins.

I'll have a few Skylanders Starter Packs for the Xbox 360. $5 will get you the disc in case, a portal, and two Skylanders. Did you recently pick up a cheap 360 to jailbreak it? Why not pick up a complete game with cool figurines?

Anyone remember #Skylanders?

My kids and I loved the games and we (I) bought almost all of the characters across multiple expansions. Dug them out of storage as I revamp my home office shelves to make them more fun, and also maybe take a small step towards eventually painting some figurines myself? 🤔

(Not pictured, drawers full of diecast cars and hobby tools for customizing projects that never happened. Yet?)

PS: If #Warhammer40k offered pre-painted starter sets, I'd be playing right now!

A late entry to #WiiUWednesday - I have finally tracked down a copy of Skylanders: Trap Team for the Wii U, *with* a working Traptanium Portal, for a non-stupid quantity of money. Thanks to Goodwill for that (https://shopgoodwill.com). This will be a Christmas present for the children.
