Einmal im Jahr müssen Baumpfleger*innen in Seilklettertechnik eine Rettungsübung absolvieren. Hoch oben im Baum, oftmals an Orten ohne Zufahrt für Fahrzeuge, müssen wir unsere Kolleg*innen notfalls sicher abseilen können. Die Feuerwehr wäre nicht immer schnell genug. Deswegen müssen auch immer mindestens zwei kletternde Personen + Ausrüstung auf einer Baustelle sein.
Diesmal hatten wir sogar Kunstblut. Angeleitet wurden wir von der Baumkletterschule Baumsyndikat in Berlin.

Ich war auf den diesjährigen #deutschebaumpflegetage in Augsburg. Es gab viele interessante Vorträge: Marc Bridge zeigte komplizierte Riggingtechniken mit Kran. Es gab Vortäge zu Materialkunde und eine Präsentation zu Pilzbestimmung mit KI (funktioniert noch nicht gut!).
Und natürlich noch viel mehr.
