Also, Finto AI has been trained with new material and is now accompanied with the most recent YSO version (Maimonides).

Skosmos 3.1. has been released!

This is a minor release that takes the first steps towards implementing the new Skosmos in finto.fi . Among the improvements, this adds support for some SKOS features like better handling of collections, ordered property values, and deprecated concepts. It also improves the search result page, and makes it easier to deploy Skosmos with Docker.

🚀 The renewal of Skosmos, the backend system for Finto.fi, is progressing!
We have released the second and final beta version ahead of the official release of Skosmos 3.0. This beta provides a sneak peek into the upcoming 3.0 version, allowing users to test its functionality and installation on local infrastructure. The release of Skosmos 3.0 is planned for the end of 2025.

Small update from the #DiGA project: The #RuhrUniBochum university library, who kindly hosts our #SKOSMOS instance, took some time to develop a small extension for us. Now the DiGA #Thesaurus of #BuddhistArt displays illustrations of the concepts (where available). This is a big step forward, as having images makes understanding the visual concepts much easier!
