Even the Wikipedia Sketchnoting page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sketchnoting calls out "visual notetaking" as an alternative name.

I went to Reimena Yee's masterclass on book research as part of Q-lit Festival! Here are my notes (except pg 5 cos I can only post 4pgs here).
I haven't gone as far as spreadsheeting/tagging my research materials (tho I should). I have the folder full of PDFs and jpegs and screengrabs. However I am also making a big list of ancient books to go and visit at at SLV when I have some time (yay librarians!).
