Skegness, once a proud seaside town, built on tourism and family holidays, is now in crisis. Tourists are fleeing as migrants fill hotels, with some owners even forced to fly flags just to prove they aren’t housing asylum seekers.
Think about how far we’ve fallen. A town that should be thriving on visitors, summer trade, and British families making memories, is instead being hollowed out. Hotels are no longer for holidaymakers, but for housing migrants. The economy suffers, the locals suffer, and the image of our country suffers.
And what do we hear from those in power? Nothing but excuses. Billions are poured into this broken system while communities like Skegness are left to pay the price. Ordinary people, who once relied on tourism for their livelihoods, are being sacrificed on the altar of government failure.
This isn’t compassion. It’s cruel to everyone, to the British families priced out of holidays, to the towns destroyed by neglect, and even to the migrants themselves, trapped in a system that fuels resentment and division.
🇬🇧 Skegness deserves better. Britain deserves better. We need to stop the boats, end hotel use, and give our towns back to the people who built them.
