Oooo boy...after two seasons in the top 4 playoffs of our #knoxvilletn #bloodBowl league with Skaven and Vamps, I ate shit with #bloodbowl2025 #skaven this season, ending up around 9th-10th out of 20. Had a strong first half but then went flat. Pretty sure part of the reason was never taking a Rat Ogre until my 9th game, plus an overall improvement in play in the league. I'm disappointed, but it was fun. I love the new #StormVermin Blitzers!

Progress on the Verminlord. Spent a couple of hours yesterday night working on the fur and the skin.

That mini was a favourite of mine as a kid but never did buy it then (did not play skaven and my father was all about "buy minis you are gonna play with).

I got it when it was re released in "made to order". The kid I still am is pretty pleased to paint it at last.

This week's #NewBooks at the library: Three different books. I found bargain deals on glaciologist Jemma Wadham's Ice Rivers from Allen Lane and novelist James Hamilton-Paterson's Stuck Monkey from Apollo. I also tracked down a copy of a 6th edition #Skaven army book. (I gave away my #Warhammer miniatures to a friend but have always loved the setting - I squarely blame Jordan Sorcery's channel for rekindling it.)

Took these from a half finished prpject taking forever to an almost finished team of wonderful rats. Finished the bases today. Gonna varnish them when this fog lifts (read: not tonight).
