Another loss today - heard via #NPR that #SixtoRodriguez, the enigmatic subject of the "Searching for Sugarman" documentary also died this week.
That was a very engaging doc if you get a chance to see that.
It covers the surprise fame of the Detroit-based singer who had assumed his musical career was long over but was discovered by fans from South Africa and Australia, where he had long been famous and presumed dead.

Saddened to hear Sixto Rodriguez has left our earthly plane. Tel and I were lucky enough to see him play in Detroit in 2015 and again in Peekskill, NY in 2018.
