Ich glaube, es soll besondere Betroffenheit beim homo sapiens auslösen, wenn man das mit den Kindern sagt.
Aber es ist eine sehr enge Sicht auf das Leben auf, über und in der Erde, unserem Heimatplaneten.
Ursprünglich von den Lakota übernommen, deren Kontext sicherlich "Mutter Erde" für alle Leben einschließt. In deren Kultur. In unserer homo-zentrischen Kultur aber werden schnell alle anderen Lebewesen außer dem Menschen ausgeblendet. Deshalb finde ich Deinen Einwand wichtig!Richtig heißt der Spruch übrigens:
"Wir haben die Erde nicht von unseren Vorfahren geerbt, wir haben sie von unseren Kindern geliehen."

Just streamed a movie that I've never seen before.
It's called #WomanWalksAhead starring #JessicaChastain doing what she does so well, playing a brave, rebellious & independent #woman, who in this case portrays a female painter named #CarolineWelden, who in real life befriended & painted a portrait of #SittingBull. the #Sioux chief, before he was killed in a confrontation w/the US soldiers to were attempting to arrest him.
The portrayal of his relationship w/Ms. Weldon & the circumstances of his death in the movie are fictional but the white American genocidal actions against #NativeAmerican people, as represented in the film, have been well proven & documented by history.
I'm going to buy the #DVD of this movie.

The portrayal of his relationship w/Ms. Weldon & the circumstances of his death in the movie are fictional but the white American genocidal actions against #NativeAmerican people, as represented in the film, have been well proven & documented by history.

"#AlexWhitePlume, a former president of the #OglalaSioux on the #PineRidge Reservation, is a founding member of the ride, which he organized in 1986 on the advice of his uncle, a spiritual interpreter.
"'My uncle said that we had to do some grieving over the historic #genocide of our people," said White Plume. 'As Lakota, our whole purpose is to be pure from trauma, ill feelings, guilt. But the historic genocide weighed so heavily on us that we couldn't think past it.'
"His uncle told him they had to bring back the grieving ritual, which Lakota no longer practiced. And to do that, White Plume needed to go back to the place where the Lakota's collective grief began.
