Wie es in einem Beitrag für die Fachzeitschrift Internationale Politik (IP) heißt, haben die Staaten #Nordamerika|s und #Europa|s mit ihren #Sanktionen einen „Irrweg“ eingeschlagen, den sie rasch verlassen müssten. Falsch eingeschätzt habe die westliche #Sanktionsallianz nicht nur die Fähigkeit der russischen #Bevölkerung, die #Zwangsmaßnahmen durchzustehen, sondern auch die Folgen im internationalen #Finanzsystem: Dort zeichne sich eine zunehmende Abkehr von westlichen #Finanzinstrumenten und #Währungen ab, um etwaige künftige Sanktionen der transatlantischen Mächte von vornherein auszuhebeln.
