Would anyone in Ireland know how to put pressure on SIRO to get a connection point changed? We have tried two providers and they insist it has to go to a box on the front of the neighbours house two doors down rather than the pole. The neighbours are, rightly IMO, refusing. This seems ridiculous to me and they keep saying it can't be swicthed.

Anyone know anything about the #SIRO outages in Dublin at the moment? #FibreBroadband is down in D15.

7.5 hours off-line now with #SIRO in Wexford. Hopefully the network operator will be able to give the retail provider an explanation, but it means changing my entire day tomorrow.

Fecking #SIRO outage affecting #Wexford apparently. Not the first time in recent week. Totally embuggers part of work plan today as mobile broadband backup isn’t buttering the spuds.

Seems to be a slow race going on between two FTTH open access network providers on my street.
#OpenEir (#Ireland’s old telco) rolled out underground & pole microducts almost 2 years ago and #Siro (owned by the power utility) did similar.
Today they’re both outside, working separately, pulling fibres 🏁👷‍♀️🔧🪛 👷‍♂️🏁
