The oxtail is cooked with vegetables, then removed from the bone, & creating a sauce from its stock. The mushrooms are added to the pot with the meat, plus more cubed carrots and parsnips. The stew is placed in a ramekin, a crust over the top, and it's baked in the oven for several minutes.
