What brings you joy?

I'm particularly interested in simple things, things that don't cost a lot of money or need a lot of planning.

One thing that brings me joy, for example, is being creative, like painting the rock in the picture below.

Looking forward to the day my child learns to read and we can begin a new tradition. Every winter we will retreat to a cabin for a week with only unread books, nourishing meals, and walks in nature. A dainty little lacewing just kissed my nose & it lifted my spirits. I'm sitting out on our back deck, working on completing my therapy homework. The lacewing was fluttering by some flowers growing on our deck & then gave me an unexpected wing kiss on the nose before flying down to the food garden area ❤️
