I kinda had a feeling that this would happen to me lol. I would get an #indie #racing game on Steam and later wish I could play it, but then I'm not on my PC for whatever reason, so now I'm double-dipping on #FormulaLegends for my #NintendoSwitch to play it. Right down to getting the same DLC.
Folks, place your bets for what indie #rally game I'll be double-dipping for next. 😅
Rather be #SimRacing, of course, but we make do with the situation we're in sometimes, lol.

If you give a mouse a sim racing wheel, she'll want a wheel stand. If you give her a wheel stand she'll want an H-gate shifter. If you give her a shifter she'll want a handbrake. If you give her a handbrake she'll look at the prices of better sim wheels, balk, and start looking into how to build her own using a motor salvaged from a hoverboard.
This is definitely a project for after my finances recover from defcon. The prices of name brand sim gear are ridiculous. So far I've been piecing it together with discount white label stuff off aliexpress, aside from the Thrustmaster T150 wheel, but there comes a point where you just have to pay the price or make your own gear.
My motto is always "I'm a broke hacker, I should act like it" so it's time to DIY some stuff. Fortunately the FFBeast project exists: https://ffbeast.github.io/docs/en/wheel.html

This meant people could still play GP3 with only a basic display adapter and no hardware acceleration if their CPU was powerful enough to run it.
