In today’s #mail: a #SterlingSilver #ClanYoung badge made by #Inverness #Silversmith #JohnFraser.

It arrived very tarnished & the eBay photo of the badge made it look even worse.

I managed to score it for less $50 Aussie, which is a little under a third of what these provincial Scottish silversmith badges sell for.

The motto of "Robore Prudentia Praestat", translates to "Prudence excels strength”.
