Alguien que conoce bien a ese hombre y a la Thiel Fellowship es el argentino #WenceslaoCasares, un nombre tal vez no tan famoso en su propio país pero que en el mundo tecno es una eminencia global.
Casares es un emprendedor tecnológico chubutense que en 1994 armó “Internet Argentina S.A”, el primer proveedor de servicios de internet que tuvo el país. Hizo una carrera en ascenso en el mundo digital y en 2011 se instaló en Silicon Valley donde creó empresas exitosas como la billetera virtual Lemon Wallet, entre otras. Casares fue miembro del directorio de #Paypal desde 2016 a 2020 y, al día de hoy, es considerado la tercera persona con más #Bitcoins en todo el planeta. Tiene una relación con Thiel, revelada en junio de este año por la hacktivista suiza #MaiaArsonCrimew, cuando publicó en #Wired que Casares era una de las 222 personas ultra influyentes del jet set global que son parte de #Dialog, una sociedad secreta fundada por Thiel en 2006 en la que también está #MarcosGalperín de #MercadoLibre. "

von der sache her interessant (und zu vertiefen) aber total nervig gemacht. erst mal 10 min trailer, abgehackte zitate, jingles, das intro im intro des intros.. dann... kurzgeschichten vor hintergrundmusik, interviews in gitarrenriffs ertränkt, sprachsamples und soundeffekte durchkreuzen jedes verständnis.

Honestly, it's quite annoying that the vast majority of #tech #podcasts are hosted by #SilliconValley #techbros. A lot of the content is quite useful, and I do get to learn useful things that I didn't know before.
But just the total lack of, anything but superficial, criticism of the big tech companies, just accepting whatever nonsense they release without question, the horrible grindset mentality, and the toxic positivity just wears me down so much.
