IT’S ALL EVOLUTION:
NOTHING UNNATURAL HAPPENED 💎

We talk as though #nature created human beings, then human beings stepped outside nature and invented #technology.

But where exactly does nature end?

The #brain is natural.

The thoughts arising in the brain are #natural.

The #silicon and metals came from the #Earth.

The tools created by that brain are natural as well.

Technology is as natural as the #brain in which it was developed.

We have not taken control of #evolution.

Evolution is operating the tools through us.

The stone axe, the #telescope, the wheelchair, #AI and the #robot avatar on the #Moon are all part of the same continuous evolutionary movement.

That does not mean every invention is wise. Nature produces plenty of disastrous experiments.

It simply means technology is not the opposite of nature.

Nor do we need to put AI technology into every healthy brain. Better to use external devices that extend our senses, intelligence and presence while remaining removable and chosen.

We are not stopping evolution.

We are simply becoming able to design more of our own lives in the short term, while evolution continues.

We never stepped outside nature.

Nature grew a #hand.

Then that hand picked up a #tool.
