Excide + Hollow Suns @ ACU
ACU, Thursday, June 11 at 08:00 PM GMT+2
Silent Call Collective presents:
Excide
Excide eclipse the constraints of era, genre, and vibe, blurring the lines between basement-born hardcore, fuzzed-out nineties alternative, and future-facing rock. Galvanized by an instinctual inclination towards unpredictability, they never compromise pit-splitting intensity for rafter-reaching melody, opting to effortlessly co-mingle both instead. As such, they make heavy music with the potential to reach the masses without pandering.
Hollow Suns
Formed in Tokyo in 2014, HOLLOW SUNS quickly gained attention with the self-released 3-song EP Hollow Suns in 2015. Following the release of their most recent EP titled FREE FALL, mixed and mastered by Will Yip, they toured the US with Rival Schools, Japan with The Story So Far, and played festivals like The Fest in Florida and LTC Fest in Virginia. Partnering now with LAST RIDE RECORDS (Australia), alongside ICE GRILL$ and SUNDAY DRIVE RECORDS, the band is expanding its global presence.
Recommended If You Like:
QUICKSAND, JIMMY EAT WORLD, FOO FIGHTERS.
Doors: 20:00
Start: 20:30
Tickets: €10-€14

Defiance + Soulprison + These Hands
ACU, Thursday, June 4 at 08:00 PM GMT+2
Silent Call Collective presents:
Defiance HC is a hardcore punk band from Stuttgart, Germany, founded in early 2024. The members share a passion for creating music with a strong social message. Defiance HC
focuses on addressing social (in-)justice, specifically the oppression of women, the LGBTQIA+
community and all forms of discrimination. In addition to their music, the band actively promotes
female empowerment and aims to inspire more women to claim their space in the hardcore and
punk scene. This mission is central to the band’s identity and is reflected in their lyrics,
presence, and actions within the community.
Soulprison is a 5-piece Hardcore/Crossover band from Germany. The band's overarching goal is to push the musical boundaries of Hardcore by developing their very own blend of heavy music which also fits their lyrical message addressing mental health and social awareness.
Started in 2025, These Hands are one of the newest bands to come out of Dutch hardcore. With several (international) shows to their name and the release of their Demo 2 earlier this year, they're a band to keep an eye on.
