I don’t understand why this journalist was fired. Variety said there was critical discomfort with his comments on social media but gave no examples, and I don’t see that what he said is in any way personally defamatory or not true. I’ve been avoiding MSM, especially “cable” news because they’ve already fired so many real journalists.
