Kolejna wysoko funkcjonująca osoba z niepełnosprawnością o mocno prawicowych poglądach. Staram się zrozumieć te zjawisko.
Moja hipoteza robocza jest taka, że narracja o sile i pogarda do słabości pomaga im się nie poddawać. Że napędza ich głęboko ukryta nienawiść do swojej niepełnosprawności. To popycha ich w stronę prawicy gdzie otrzymują dodatkowe poglądy w pakiecie.
Ale może kompletnie się mylę. Jednego już nie zapytam bo uznał mnie za lewaczka i nie rozmawiamy, drugiego świeżo zapoznaję więc to jeszcze nie czas na takie dyskusje a może nigdy nie będzie, bo o takich rzeczach rozmawiać to trzeba być blisko.
Jednak ceniłbym sobie zrozumienie takich poglądów, które często jednak nawołują do eliminowania wszystkich o nieidealnych czy uszkodzonych ciałach.
Jeśli to im pomaga, to czy w sposób pozorny, olbrzymim kosztem osobistym, toksycznie, czy tak na serio, głęboko? Czy krytyka poglądów w takim kontekście to ableizm? Nie umiem ocenić. Nie zauważyłem w żadnym z nich pogardy do innych z tą samą niepełnosprawnością. Przemilczane czy zignorowane?
Jeśli narracja o sile i pogardzie słabości pomaga niektórym to czy narracja o wsparciu, współczuciu i akceptacji jest dedykowana dla tych bez dużych ograniczeń, którzy mają przestrzeń na to, żeby wspierać innych?
Pewnie będę myślał o tym miesiącami.
