Wow... Je n'avais pas écouté #SigurRós depuis des années...
J'ai regardé un film avec Timothée Chalamet, "My Beautiful Boy" (2018), où des riffs d'une musique de Sigur Rós sont joués, d'une musique que j'adore.
Ce film est incroyable, mais à ne pas recommander aux âmes sensibles (consommation de d*, effets sur les co-dépendants, dépression du malade addict...)
J'ai eu comme un retour 10 ans en arrière.
Je réécoute avec JOIE et émotions la première musique que j'ai découverte d'elleux... "Takk..."
Des émotions et de l'espoir, de la dopamine pure.

Dies ist eine neu geschnittene, erweiterte und ganz andere Version des wunderbaren Sigur-Ros-Tourfilms „Heima“. Eine einzigartige Auswahl und Kombination aller verfügbaren audiovisuellen Materialien zu diesem Film. Das Ergebnis sind vollständige, ununterbrochene Auftritte, wunderschöne Landschaften und nicht viel mehr. Direkt auf den Punkt gebracht. Keine Interviews, Voice-overs oder andere ablenkende Elemente. Ich habe auch die Reihenfolge der Titel neu angeordnet und mehr als nur ein paar Segmente komplett herausgeschnitten. Alles nach meinem Geschmack. Diese Bearbeitung ist sehr „ich“, im Guten wie im Schlechten.

I received a #NickelCreek LP for #Christmas. It's always funny to me when a 12" LP is recorded at 45 RPM and the first song is instrumental and I don't notice it until a song with singing starts playing. Had the same experience recently with a #SigurRos LP that I swear doesn't say 45 anywhere on the #vinyl or the accompanying material. At least with Nickel Creek it's labelled (I just wasn't paying attention). Lol.

I'm typically super hesitant about covers especially for favourite bands so I had previously ignored this, but it's been officially released on Sigur Ros' Bandcamp today and it's really quite lovely. Not so much covers as ambient reworkings, if those are different things. Don't really know who the artist is, other than their name is Sidney Satorsky and they're Canadian?

I was poking around youtube, and ran into this. Sigur Rós with the LA Philharmonic. Fantastic! It's pretty old, but new to me.
One of the best concerts I've seen was Sigur Rós at the Strathmore, on their Takk tour, but that wasn't with an orchestra.
