BARGEPOLE, besides being an object, is also a British expression; a shortened form of 'I wouldn't touch that with a bargepole.'
It means 'no way.'
An example: 'Do you have a Facebook page' and I could answer 'Bargepole.'For the letterheads, this is inspired by a 1817 Vincent Figgins typeface.
