  4. The list of accepted papers for sign-lang@LREC 2026 is now available at sign-lang.uni-hamburg.de/lrec2
    We had a large number of excellent submissions, resulting in 52 accepted papers, the second largest number in the workshop‘s 22 year history!
    In addition, at least 11 papers about sign languages have been accepted to the LREC main conference. We include a list of these on the same page.

    Please note that notifications are only sent to the corresponding author, so please forward them to your co-authors. If you are a corresponding author and did not receive a notification, please check your spam folder.   6. Good news, everyone! Due to numerous requests, the deadine for sign-lang@LREC 2026 has been extended to Friday, 20 February (everywhere on earth).   7. We are excited to announce the official call for papers for sign-lang@LREC 2026, aka the 12th Workshop on the Representation and Processing of Sign Languages! It will take place on 16 May 2026 as a full day event on the final day of LREC 2026 in Palma de Mallorca, Spain.
    The deadline for submissions is 14 February 2026. Please note that these must be full paper submissions (4–8 pages), not abstracts.

  8. It is offical: We will be part of LREC 2026 as the 12th Workshop on the Representation and Processing of Sign Languages 🎉
    The conference will take place from 11–16 May in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. The workshop theme will be “Language in Motion”. The exact workshop date and submission deadline are not yet confirmed. (Though traditionally, workshop submission deadlines are scheduled to be after the main conference notifications of acceptance, so adventurous types might risk an educated guess.) #SignLangLREC #LREC2026 #LREC

  12. Reminder: The deadline for sign-lang@LREC 2024 submissions is 22 February 2024!
    Also, we now offer custom LaTeX and Word templates. These are modified versions of the official #LREC_COLING2024 templates (which we also accept), but add (optional) ORCID icons for authors and remove the anonymity requirement. The LaTeX template also comes pre-loaded with the entire sign-lang@LREC Anthology bibliography.

The sign-lang@LREC Anthology now includes not only all sign-lang@LREC papers as well as #LREC main conference papers about #SignLanguages, but also sign language papers from other LREC workshops, such as all SLTAT7 papers. Where available, posters and video presentations are included. Also, our index of covered languages, tools, datasets and projects has been updated to cover all newly added papers, introducing a new tool subcategory: Avatars! #SignLangLREC
