Working on designing a very Christian tattoo (for someone I really care about in my partner's family, I'm not mad about it) because money so basically to offset that I think someone should definitely book a Very Very heathen tattoo from me very soon.

Perhaps this dagger, which is part of my Sympathetic Symbols book -- a series of handcrafted spells ready to be embedded in ink. Worth a thought, I think!

The beginning of the first sheet I'm able to draw since the injury! I never do florals, or plants at all for that matter, so I thought it was time to make some semi-realistic flowers, starting with this rose!

When I'm done doing this in graphite I want to do a version in a black linework style I've been seeing a lot that's a little more easily translatable to dotwork tattoo and I'm excited. Right now I'm chipping away at this maybe 20-30 minutes at a time so I don't strain my wrist, so it'll take some time but I'll be excited to share as I log more studio time and start producing work again.

I realized as I was doing my planning today that my newsletter this month is actually going to center around Solstice rites and delving a little deeper into ways we work with the land. This will tease the writeup on fertility magick I'd like to do, and then in July I'll release the writeup on Gods as Representations of Forces, which is good because that one is going to take quite a bit of researching and double-checking memory on comparable religion type things and felt a bit out of scope for this month given everything else happening.
