Hmm... I don't generally get tired of songs... but:

a) My tastes change. For instance, I used to listen to Metallica. I don't anymore.

b) The emotional impact of a song can also change. I still listen to No Lullaby by Siamés. Early on, I'd start crying when I heard it. (It is a song about kids from a broken home, and for whom there is "no lullaby.") Nowadays, I need to be in the right mood to cry.

A similar thing happened with The Pink Phantom by Gorillaz. Early on, I'd literally bawl my eyes out when it came on. Now, it is more a matter of mood whether I'm going to cry or not. This song is a breakup song, and it came into my orbit after a bitter breakup.
