Here’s a #postcard showing the Royal Military College of Science, #Shrivenham. This traced its origins back to a college for artillery in 1772. It became part of the Defence Academy UK in 2009, and was formally wound up in 2015
RMCS was associated with #Cranfield University, and Cranfield retains a presence at the site.
Fun fact: it shares a motto – Rerum cognoscere causas, or To know the causes of things – with LSE
