Good morning this Christmas Adam! With the shortness of the break from school before the holiday(s) today is the day for Gingerbread house making and cookie baking....or maybe just laundry catch-up.

Back to school! Yay! We made it through the fall break!
Growing up, our tree went up at Thanksgiving and down on New Years. My husband's family waited to put the tree up after the eldest's birthday in early December.When do you put up or get your tree?

In discussing the upcoming "big meal" I told my husband we need to commit to a turkey (size) soon. He reminded me that he's already committed to a turkey, har har. So I agreed that I was too. ;-)

We are starting to plan Thanksgiving dinner. We're a small group, so instead of doing "traditional" dishes, we just make each person's favorite side as a side dish for the big meal. So what's YOUR favorite side dish? (Thanksgiving or otherwise)

On other platform(s) my friends and I do Show Me Your Mug Monday. It started with the first lock downs when we missed seeing friend's faces. We've continued this weekly tradition and I've enjoyed seeing faces and mugs regularly and hearing regular news from folks.
