If you don't like to walk that much you can go by a little roadtrain (like these touristy thingies everywhere) or can rent a bike.

The bike lanes are completly independant of the walkways and also don't cross the walkways as they pass by under bridges!

But I think you can imagine it will look great!

Oh and a lot of flowerbeds have extra doors, windows / frames for taking pictures :)

Showa Kinen Park has a complet free area, where you can sit and chill but also a bigger payed area with:
Flower park, flower hill, old farmhouse, a japanese garden, bonsai exhibition, etc.

The entrance fee with ¥ 450 is fair I think.

The park is like a matryoshka doll. As there are many different things inside ;)
