My first nomination for #SymphonicMonday is Shostakovich's 11th Symphony. The quiet parts crawl up your spine, and it goes so hard in the 4th movement. Appropriate for a symphony about a Tsarist massacre of civilians in the snow.Live it can take your breath away.
