I am desperate for a photographer who would like to cover the #shortTrack world cup in #Dresden or #Dordrecht in early February 2023.
Anyone who takes acceptable pictures is welcome to go, take as many pics as possible and then put them on Wikimedia Commons under the public domain license. I'm happy to help submit a grant request to Wikimedia to cover travel and housing costs, and to sort through the photos & clean up before upload!
I'm a terrible photographer and it's killing me that most pro skaters are either not illustrated on Wikipedia or illustrated with a blurry smartphone photo taken at a low level 2012 competition and that I can't go solve that myself.
