I detest all tracking and do my best to block it. I had sort of hoped that #mastodon would / could be a refuge.

But then we have crap like this:

"Threads opens beta to let users connect their accounts to the fediverse tcrn.ch/3INBFsZ”

and that shortlink - in a toot boosted by @Gargron - will track.

I would like to think that someone, somewhere could code through shortlinks and expose the _actual_ link.

Or just ban them.

Falls ihr Youtube #Shortlinks verwendet sind euch wohl die Zeichen zum Schluss aufgefallen
"?si=..."

Dabei handelt es sich um nen Tracker. Um Leute und Netzwerke miteinander in Verbindung zu bringen. Wenn ihr Yt Link teilt, löscht ab Besten ab dem "?".

Besser wäre im übrigen wenn ihr den Link zu nem anderen Frontend macht.
