The opaque mist wrapped itself around the high street, an all encompassing cloak befitting the stature of a majestic figure. It shimmered with ad iridescence that played over dully burning street lamps. The Fae had come to claim their chosen prize, a small orphan child. To nurture or harm, the little village did not know. But they knew the mist would blanket them forever in a prismatic darkness, if payment was not given.

while most of the tangents went back to the 'reality' before this dream fragment (voices seemingly coming from hardware, threathening my son #BeardGrabber? Or was it coming from his sub-c? I bet there's a #shortFic there too...) one of those tangents went back to the point right before we are left to think the netrunner had gotten trapped in the bulb's circuits.
