old gpu will keep dropping in price - i think at some point the new features will combine to accelerate biz calculus - various accelerators, pci-e v6, cxl, agentic profiles. better algorithms ai and quantum combined - first photonic neural net. things will scale up a bit more with pretty big gains every gen - i am not going to petaflop land like george hotz. i actually think running 2 cards in a unit and running 3 units is way to go - point to point 100g, more scalable. the real thing though is if things go to phontonics expect massive speedup #shor #grover

Moldovan police said pro-Russian fugitive businessman Ilan #Shor had channeled $39 million in September and October in a scheme to bribe voters in last Sunday's presidential election and referendum on joining the #EU.
Moldovan authorities have said the election campaign was overshadowed by a massive #Russia-linked election meddling scheme aimed at defeating the pro-#Europe side.

A branch of #Moldova’s pro-Russian opposition met in #Moscow on Sunday to create a new anti-European political bloc that aims to derail the nation’s planned #EU accession process.
The bloc, called “Victory” and affiliated with fugitive oligarch Ilan #Shor, aims to challenge President Maia #Sandu and her pro-European government in elections due between October and mid-2025.

#Moldova's pro-European president, Maia #Sandu, accused #Russia on Wednesday of "buying" voters in this weekend's local elections by funnelling money to pro-#Moscow political parties.
Sandu, who has denounced Russia's invasion of Ukraine and accused #Russia of trying to oust her in a coup, said Moscow had channelled the equivalent of nearly $5 million in two months in financing for "criminal groups". These include a banned party led by fugitive businessman Ilan #Shor.
