I just saw a huge falling star going southeast. Like bright enough, I thought it was a firework dropping out of the sky at first. The general direction towards Boise, Idaho.

-- Although I always enjoy watching Kep1er perform "Back To The City" and "Shooting Star", I felt the absence here during these songs of Youngeun, Mashiro, and Yeseo. I hope that Youngeun is able to return from hiatus soon, and I also nourish what I recognize as almost certainly vain but nevertheless cherished hopes that Yeseo and Mashiro will be able to rejoin the group.

-- Chaehyun (3:20) always strikes me as a terrific performer.

-- The blonde Hikaru (2:53) and Dayeon (3:11) look as good as ever with their shorter hairstyles. I wish more idols had their hair this length.

-- Dayeon's outfit shows off her figure to great advantage, and the keys are a delightful touch.

IVE -- Yujin

IVE -- I AM was my Kpop Song Of The Year in 2023, but I haven't really loved any of their title tracks since then.

Similarly, Kep1er -- Shooting Star was my Kpop Song Of The Year in 2024, but the group's subsequent comebacks have fallen flat with me.

I'm hoping this pattern doesn't continue now that I've named Hearts2Hearts -- The Chase as my Song Of The Year for 2025. I have grounds for optimism, as I have liked all their releases this year following on from "The Chase". Let's pray we don't part company next year!

Since I'm mentioning IVE, I have decided to post this picture of Yujin. She was my IZ*ONE bias, and she remains a beautiful and talented idol.

I'm going to guess that just about every Kpop girl group fan has a preference for either Yujin or Wonyoung, even if they are not passionately attached to IVE. Obviously, I am in the Yujin camp, but I recognize that she is outstripped in popularity by Wonyoung.

Acid Blade is a heavy metal band from Dresden, Germany, delivering raw and honest music rooted in the spirit of 1980s heavy metal. Formed by former members of Angel Blade, the band emerged with a clear vision to carry forward the legacy of traditional heavy metal, drawing heavily from the New Wave of British Heavy Metal. After releasing a demo in 2021, they signed with Jawbreaker Records and launched their debut album, “Power Dive,” in 2022, followed by the EP “Shooting Star” in 2023.
