Question for my fellow blind Android users: Have you gotten Shizuku to work on newer Pixel devices, specifically the Pixel 9, 10 or 11? I hear that Shizuku doesn't work but also hear that there's forks that fix the issues. Anyone know anything about this? Such a feature was already requested, but chenxiaolong (the author of BCR) wants to keep BCR Basic; and I do agree with him!

Call recording on Android is hard work, and I'd like (and hope) him to stay focused on it... recording management is a job made for BCR-GUI 😂.

Есть у меня довольно простой автомобильный сценарий. Я сажусь в машину, телефон автоматически соединяется по Bluetooth с магнитолой, а самой магнитоле для навигации, пробок и прочих радостей нужен интернет через Wi‑Fi. Каждый раз доставать телефон, открывать шторку и вручную включать точку доступа мне в какой-то момент окончательно надоело. Казалось бы, задача на пять минут: поймали подключение нужного Bluetooth-устройства и вызвали системную функцию включения hotspot. Но с недавних пор эту лавочку в Android прикрыли. Обычному стороннему приложению прямого доступа к управлению tethering уже не дают, даже если пользователь сам этого хочет. В итоге получилось небольшое приложение BlueSpot на C#/.NET, которое делает ровно одну вещь: при подключении к выбранному Bluetooth-устройству включает системную Wi‑Fi-точку и присылает уведомление. Root не требуется, но без небольшого легального извращения в виде Shizuku не обошлось.

je désinstalle youtube (que les maj car c'est une appli système), je supprime l'association par défaut.
j'ouvre le lien yt, newpipe me demande s'il peut, je dis oui, toujours.
je bloque les maj auto, j'interdis les maj 4g, yt m'impose les maj wifi, je ne mets pas le wifi.
le lendemain youtube est reinstallé en nouvelle version.

I'm preferring my new way to degoogle. Instead of manually doing it like I have done in the past, I am now installing Shizuku and using shizuku privileges to precipitate the process. - De-google my life! ⚡

I am old-tech USB ADB and SU Root guy that's learning new tricks of the trade. Rooting is not really needed like it used to be way back in the day. Having an MS Windows OS available 247 is also something in the past.

Приложения на вашем телефоне могут обнаружить VPN через SOCKS5 на localhost и слить IP-адрес сервера. Рабочий профиль (Island, Insular, Shelter) скрывает VPN от ConnectivityManager, но не от tun0, маршрутов и локальных портов. Так родился open-souce Anubis, решает проблему иначе - автоматически отключает приложения через pm disable-user при смене состояния VPN.
