  32. The next update of @FoosballApp also includes the data basis for playing multiple sets in one game. Basically with a first and second half. However, this is not yet offered in terms of UI. This way I can prepare myself for the future feature and won't have to migrate the model in any way later.

  34. The detail view of a player contains at least one chart. The number of games won and lost in a pie chart. I'm currently focusing more on the basic functionality, which is also expected. Alerts to confirm certain decisions. Translate the app into German, as the German market is relatively large.

    The chart is also available for free users. I will add more statistics for Pro users later. -> Update

  37. Sometimes it really helps to look at other apps to solve the own problems. Today I downloaded Freeletics, which has a calendar view very similar to #Foosball. They have solved the date with the month display very elegantly, which I have now adopted. I've had the UX problem for a few days now and haven't found a solution yet until now.

  38. Since the launch of @FoosballApp I have made exactly $0 🤑. Those are the bare facts. But I haven't really run any marketing strategy yet and haven't played around with keywords much. The app isn't even translated. I wanted to launch as soon as possible and all of that is still to come.

    So far, the app actually only knows a few of my followers who read this message + my 8 #Foosball friends since yesterday. 🤷‍♂️

  39. This evening I was able to test @Foosball live in a real environment and it works really well. The only problem is that the shuffle algorithm doesn't rotate properly when there are multiples of 4 participants (there were 8 of us this evening). This means that the same teams always end up competing against each other in a group. You could still help things out manually using the lock function, but that was noticeable. Otherwise the feedback was good! 😊

  43. Version 1.0.2 of @FoosballApp is in the AppStore. 🚀 If I had to submit the current version to #ShipATon, I would be happy. Everything else that comes is a bonus for me. I will now clean up my code to make room for new features. I think I will use the weekend to create the player profiles and their statistics. I will then submit it directly to Apple on Monday.

    (I noticed a few minor bugs that I will address during the code cleanup).

  44. Damn 🙄, I wanted to upload the next version of @FoosballApp with Xcode 16 RC, but I completely forgot that you also need sequoia for that, which won't be released until September 16th. I don't want to install the beta on my machine. It's going to be really tight with the #ShipATon deadline. I'll probably download Xcode 15 again, which of course I uninstalled immediately after the RC release :D Stupid me 🤡

  46. There are only 10 days left until the #ShipATon deadline. Tonight I'm making a priority list of @FoosballApp tasks that I want to tackle in the final stages. However, I won't be developing any more features, but will be improving what I have so far. Version 1.0.2 will probably be the version that will be submitted to #Apple with Xcode 16 after today's #AppleEvent.

  50. A quick update from me. I'm still waiting for the review from Apple. So far the build is still waiting in the queue 🙂
