CW: Gaming ramblings
I've slowed down on Steam purchases, 'cuz #games just don't excite me like they used to. I remember #eccothedolphin scaring the pants off me as a kid. The thrill of making it to a new level in Sonic or the triumph of finally finishing #ShiningintheDarkness. I just don't feel the wonder anymore. The writing seldom seems any good. The music doesn't stir me, not like in old favorites like #StarOcean 2 or #Ffix.
I'm hoping #SilkSong will excite me. Nearly every other new game I've tried lately, I've just bounced off of. I don't feel like putting in the 'work' to see what it has to offer because the gameplay isn't rewarding.
Maybe I'm just playing the wrong kinds of games. I still need to finish the #Subnautica sequel. I haven't been back to #Satisfactory for months. I never bothered finishing #Bioshock Infinite, and also need to finish the #Systemshock remake.
I also want to try making my own game with #RenPy but can't muster the energy or motivation to get that started either. #gaming

At last, we vanquished Dark Sol once and for all... Twice! Once with brute force ( I didn't trigger one totally optional event and the fight is so hard but worth it), and 2nd with proper one (with blessing as Shining Knight and such).
I'm so happy that I'm finally finished this game! Been wanting to finish and complete this game properly, and finally, I finished it with 11-long-run stream, 2-4 hours each!
Next week I'll look for the next longplay retro game I will play. Until then, see you tomorrow on my usual FFXIV one!

#ShiningInTheDarkness is almost finished! Got all things from behind Cell Key (a lot of weird items and magic rings!), and throw the medallion to end of floor 4! Doing some scouting to floor 5, but ends up wiped out by mimic lol, so I restarted.
So, will restart floor 5 again in next stream! As long as no technical difficulties, we can finish the game next stream!

#ShiningInTheDarkness gives very harsh floor 4 on Labyrinth Proper! Given that it's almost to the end of the game.
Here we finally saved the princess! Though with big cost, from in-game perspective... We fought a really true boss in this game. Different song too, and gives a very good pace.
We also got CELL KEY so now we can open all the locked cells throughout the dungeon!
All in all, very good progress. One or two more streams until the end of this game!

I also did quick-byte Golden Axe, a lot of Fall Guys (no thoughts head empty game for me), and some demos. Also some horror games - Evil Within and Dead Space Remake!

Floor 3 of Labyrinth Proper done! I still need to do one more trip there to put medallion to 3rd floor Gold Fountain, but it will be fast on the next stream!
Enemies are dangerous, yes, but party's upgrades are very big too! The bosses are very dangerous, and there's new Frozen Krab! And new lore!
This game almost get to 18 hrs mark, and still going strong!
