Vom Berg Hiei ging es dann mit Seil- und Standseilbahn wieder hinab nach Kyoto, wo auf dem Rückweg der #Shimogamo-Schrein besichtigt wurde. Wie der Hiyashi-Taisha-Schrein ist er einem lokalen Schutzgott gewidmet und soll die frühere Hauptstadt vor bösen Geistern schützen. Der Shimogamo-Schrein liegt am Zusammenfluss von Kamo- und Takamo-Fluss.

8月11日（日）ー16日（金）毎年この次期は暑くて全く納涼ではありません。
そして、夕立もあるので折りたたみ傘を用意しておくのが良いです。古本まつりの後は近くの栄盛湯へ。ここの水風呂は井戸水なので肌触りが良く、心地良い冷たさです。
