#OTD 1985 I saw #SuicidalTendencies from Venice CA make their 2nd appearance in #DC , the Richmond VA band #DeathPiggy opened for themselves dressed up as a fake metal group with smoke machines and a giant #pentagram decorated with runes that spelled out vowels A E I O U and soon spilled corn syrup based blood concoction into the venue's new monitors, becoming banned by the Seth Hurwitz owned club, until they were invited to return several years later as the far more popular #ShimmyDisc recording artists #GWAR !

Bongwater ~ Double Bummer (Shimmy Disc, 1988) ~ I bought this in a second-hand record shop somewhere in the midlands ~ I had a couple of Bongwater albums in the late 80s/early 90s but this one never made it into my collection until a few years back. I actually paid a tenner for it.
It has a version of "Rock and Roll Part 2" the brilliant original of which has sadly been lost to us.
