"Girls Just Want to Have Fun" is a song written in 1979 by #RobertHazard and made famous in 1983 by the American singer-songwriter #CyndiLauper, who changed some of the lyrics. It was released by #PortraitRecords as Lauper's debut single from her first solo album, #ShesSoUnusual (1983), which was released four days earlier. Lauper's version gained recognition as a #feministAnthem and was promoted by an #MTVVideoMusicAward–winning music video directed by #EddGriles.

"Time After Time" is a song by American singer #CyndiLauper from her debut studio album, #ShesSoUnusual (1983). It was released as the album's second single in March 1984, by #Epic and #PortraitRecords. Written by Lauper and #RobHyman, who also provided #backingVocals, the song was produced by #RickChertoff. It was written in the album's final stages, after "#GirlsJustWantToHaveFun", "#SheBop" and "#AllThroughTheNight" had been written or recorded.
