  1. Fun Fact: there was a form of Anglicanised martial arts self defence in the Victorian era known as Bartitsu. It was a mishmash of jujitsu, kickboxing, regular boxing,ect. that was popular with Victorian era gentlemen due to Arthur Conan Doyle referencing it in his “Sherlock Holmes” stories
