In the images sent by Mars rover Perseverance, both cameras have the dust covers on. These covers are swung away during operations, as illustrated in the image sequence below.

Mars rover Perseverance sent what appears to be "parts inspection" type images yesterday.
These two objects are part of the Scanning Habitable Environments with Raman & Luminescence for Organics & Chemicals (SHERLOC) instrument, mounted at the end of robotic arm. SHERLOC uses a UV laser and spectrometer to measure Raman scattering which helps determine fine-scale mineralogy and organic compounds in Martian rocks.
