Shaved these hedgehog timbers and turned them into another storage shelf for the barn with the help of two old doors.
These doors have been recycled multiple times already, after their first life as actual doors (in a school we think) the old man used them as walls and some as shelving inside the house. They're stave core doors, so almost solid wood about 50mm thick and extremely heavy.
Lifting them onto the supports was not fun, but now I have a very sturdy shelf and another section of the barn tidied up, which makes me happy.

CW: My own big library
I am reading this #book from a picture right now. And I think it will be great to buy every #book that I have read. I've read #Goethe, #Ellison, #books from #Discovery, and a lot of books whose authors I don't remember. Also I have a big #library of books from my #grandparents, and I thought, why not build a big #shelf with books? It will look nice, I think.

Slapped together another shelf. This one is for plants. South facing window room where we're keeping some plants and start seedlings.
Like the previous one, this shelf is made from the old mans bed and the remains of his toilet cubicle. And some brand new screws!
Typical example of dependencies: I wanted to use my trailer, but there was a half finished shelf in it from last year when I was building the other one and then winter hit hard and long and I just rolled it into the barn and covered it until now. But to get the scrap metal out of the garden, I needed the trailer, so I had to finish the shelf first.
To finish the shelf, I also had to rig some strings so the curtain behind can still be operated.

Slapped together a shelf for storing tools and supplies in house.
Made from parts of the previous owner's bed and some studs salvaged from the toilet cubicle I tore out.
No finished picture because I immediately loaded it full with stuff (hence the need for a shelf).
Total cost: A couple screws, one sawblade and a few kWh of angle grinder use to sand the studs (optional).
