Tonight was dumb. I had a small project I wanted to get done and tore apart my shed trying to make it work. I turned my ordered chaos into regular chaos. #shedStudio.

My band practiced tonight. This is the VERY FIRST take of the VERY FIRST time I've tried to record a full band in my #shedStudio

I think it sounds pretty damn good for what was supposed to be a test - though I did just do a bit of EQ on it ;)

I had decided I was done after the last one... but damnit I was digging the vibe and had to do another one.

This is a composition that I've never known what to do with. But as I was recording it right now, I realized it might be awesome if I could get someone to rap on it.

I could almost put a beat behind it, but IDK if the tempo would work for that. Maybe I need a bass and live drums or something?

Dialing in the shedStudio A/V. Playing cartoons in the backround is fun as heck I think. Though I should really clean up cords and try to make a backround that isn't cluttered. Maybe try to make it look like I have my shit together?

I wanted to play around with my loop pedal for looptober, and I've really wanted a good live recording setup. It'll be cool to capture live moments later.

The video is dumb but I'm playing around with it. I think I like this audio setup though!

Audio was straight from the mixer, everything was recorded in OBS without digital postprocessing - except for a handy ffmpeg command to convert a 16:9 video to a 9:16 video:

I've gotten a lot of use out of my printer, but if this printed garden hose extension adapter thing works without leaking too bad, it will somehow justify every penny of the purchase.

So I've been wanting a vertical planter to hang in front of the window in #shedStudio for my green onions.

I spent tonight designing this monstrosity in #openscad

I'm pretty sure this will be far too unbalanced to print properly... but if it does print, its gonna be like 1 ft tall, and its gonna be fuckin cool.

I love how storebought green onion cuttings sprout roots in water. I just planted some. They seem remarkably hearty, and probably the only thing that'll grow in #shedstudio

I live in a winter hellscape, and the shed is only heated on afternoons I work. Otherwise it stays just above freezing.

Until spring comes, this is about the only greenery I get outside of #bloomscrolling. Hopefully it helps me through winter.

My buddy, Bronson, spat out this awesome song while I was away. It was a real treat to hear later!

Anyway, Bronson said I can share this out as a demo here. I'm gonna get him back in shedStudio so we can get it down solid.

I found out, by means of a friendly neighbor, that bow/crossbow hunting is legal in my city, so long as u have written permission from every neighbor residence 50 yards from where you are.

This guy lives two houses down. He probably didn't need to ask my permission but I thought it was nice.

Anyway, literally 2 days after the encounter, a dear bolts in front of our car when my family was heading home from in-laws house.

I need to practice up. But next year I'm bow hunting for sure #shedStudio

I've decided to just print the case, then I'll take to blender to modify the card/money clip so it can be printed and superglued onto the case.

My buddy came over last week and recorded acoustic guitar and some demo vocals for a song he was working on.

IDK what direction we're going to go with it, but tonight I finally got a chance to add some pinache to it, and it sounds fun.

Paternity leave is officially over. Being back to work this week... has sucked.

But I'm feeling kinda awesome about my standing desk setup in #shedstudio. And I fucking love the view. Was worth putting the window in, 10 times over.

Maybe 15 times over! I got the window cheap at auction for less than $20, and it took maybe 4 hours to cut a hole in the wall and fix the framing.

So if it were a $300 expense, and took 60 hours to install, it would still be worth it.

Tried mounting it in a dozen locations. Somehow, the best position for it has a giant, 3.5ft diameter trunk oak tree directly in between the AP and shedstudio.

I just got done drilling into my siding at 1am like some kind of psycho. But I did it!
