Only just noticed that @itsy_boston_spader finished its run of 707 posts (7 screencaps of Spader's face per episode over 101 episodes) a couple of weeks back.
Not entirely sure how to continue now - S04E14 only has 7 recognised images of Spader and S03E18 only has 13. I could do an "almost new" run of 707 posts but it would require repeating all of S04E14[0] and repeating one image from S03E18.
Or I could train the model on Spader from different series and pretend it was always a Spader bot instead of just a "Spader-in-Boston-Legal" bot. Bonus of this is there's The Practice, The Office, and obviously there's a metric assload of The Blacklist.
Or, or, I could do a run of Shatners but it feels wrong putting him on a Spader bot instead of creating one just for him (since that could also include Star Trek, TJ Hooker, Third Rock, etc.)
[0] Unless updating the facial rec code and retraining it gets it to recognise more?

Legally blind Strange New Worlds actor Bruce Horak (Hemmer) had news earlier this spring that I somehow missed:
- a crowdfunded documentary is being made about his ‘Boldly going’ as a disabled actor and visual artist
- he met with William Shatner, who has agreed for Bruce to paint his portrait. (Bruce paints as he sees with his very limited vision in one eye.)
Here’s a report from CTV from his hometown of Calgary filed in March.
“And he says he’s an example of how DEI works – for everyone.
“When you design for disability, everyone benefits,” he said, pointing out that phone texting started as something to assist the hearing-impaired and now it’s for everyone.”

#Methodically and #meticulously transferring #development #server files from (oh, let's say a juvenile-aged dev, as was born late spring '24) Linux box to a general 2TB storage device-- one of two 2TB drives purchased in 2021-- to which I'd planned transferring all files of any nature from anywhere, till [milk blood] running out.
One thing I did forget to do, however seems to be impacting productivity. Wonder why.

Went to a showing of The Wrath of Khan last night, followed by a 1-hr conversation with William Shatner, then a photo-op.
For 93, Bill Shatner was on fine form! Wise-cracking and telling cool stories.
Towards the end of the night, he talked about his spaceflight (Blue Origin) and he implored everyone to take climate change seriously. Very passionate about protecting planet earth. Great guy!
